A group of Hispanic brethren congregating at Tabernacle Baptist Church began to pray that God would provide them with a spiritual leader.
On Monday, July 10, 2000, Juan Carlos Fernandez, his wife Carmen and their son Victor Juan travelled to Greenville, South Carolina, to settle in this city and invited him to be their pastor. The incorporation meeting of the church was held on Sunday, September 17, 2000.
