IBT Greenville Pastor Update (Spanish and English)
Pastors' Welcome
Thank you for visiting our website! We are a church in Greenville, SC, a family of Christians where we are all learning and growing together.
Our purpose as a church is to fulfill the the mission of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do that through the three goals of all our activities: to reach people (to know Christ), to train and develop believers (to grow in character), and to transfer that knowledge to others (to share in communion and continue the mission).
Our activities are in Spanish but we interpret everything into English. We hope to see you soon!
Our mission
The mission of the church is to teach the world everything that Jesus commanded.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
WORSHIP
The Christian life, and that of the church, begins with our relationship with the Triune God. All individual and corporate worship - praise, fellowship, teaching, giving, prayer, ordinances, service - must be centred on the exaltation of God.
TRAIN
We form believers through baptism, public identification with Jesus, and discipleship, doctrinal formation for spiritual growth. We want to maintain orthodoxy (biblical doctrine) and orthopraxy (biblical conduct).
REACH
As a church, we desire to bring the good news of the Gospel to reach others for Christ, whether in Greenville through our outreach programs, or anywhere else in the world through our missions program.
The Gospel
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, he was buried, and he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Etienne has published articles in peer-reviewed journals like Themelios, and, like a good Latino, his favorite pastime is soccer.
